Thanks to the healthy altitude of up to 3,250 meters above sea level, snow reliability and white winter landscapes are in the nature of things here. A special attraction is the 'Glacier Circuit'! With its 72 km of descents and 15,000 vertical meters, it is a fascinating challenge for a day trip! 227 km of slopes and 59 lifts offer a new slope experience every day without waiting times. The powder snow guarantee from October to May and the snow-covered valley runs make Tux one of the leading winter sports regions in the Alps.

Cross-country skiing – Skating

The sporting offer in the Tuxertal includes 14 km of classic cross-country trail leading from Vorderlanersbach to Madseit, and 14 km of skating trail in Juns/Madseit. The trail is maintained by the Tux-Finkenberg tourist office and is available for free use.

Off-piste

Already tried the many possibilities off-piste? The fantastic winter landscape invites you to discover nature in white – each in their own way, whether on a toboggan run or a sleigh ride! Access to all huts is possible by taxi.

Ice skating – curling

Experience 'Fun on Ice' on the large natural ice rinks in Lanersbach! Whether you venture onto the ice on fast skates or prefer to watch the children – fun is guaranteed! Traditional curling provides funny and varied hours off-piste. 4 curling lanes in Lanersbach offer witty action in distance and target shooting.

Winter hiking – winter hiking trails

The 68 km of winter hiking trails provide winter variety. A challenge are the trails to the Eggalm, the Penken or the Sommerbergalm – as a reward, rustic huts and panorama restaurants with Zillertal specialties await. Those who prefer to enjoy the great view comfortably can take the cable cars to the individual mountain stations.
